Overview

The Authority receives complaints to support accurate records, address potential misuse of license claims, and help identify material issues that may require administrative follow-up under the licensing framework.

Administrative intake Evidence required No legal advice No guarantees
Important: If you believe you have been the victim of fraud or a crime, you should contact your local law enforcement and/or your financial institution immediately.

1) What can be submitted

A) Suitable complaint topics

  • Misuse of the NLA name/crest/seal or false “licensed by” / “regulated by” claims
  • Unverified license references, incorrect license numbers, or status misrepresentation
  • Concerns relating to a license holder’s disclosures (e.g., ownership claims inconsistent with records)
  • Operational concerns where a license holder’s public conduct appears inconsistent with stated obligations

B) Not suitable for this channel

  • Private commercial disputes (fees, contract terms, refunds) unless linked to clear misrepresentation of license status
  • Requests for compensation, damages, or legal rulings
  • Anonymous allegations without verifiable evidence
Tip: The fastest way to help is to attach proof: screenshots, URLs, documents, transaction references, and dated communications.

2) Handling process (typical)

Complaints are handled using a structured approach designed for consistency, clarity and record traceability.
