License Fees & Payment Framework

This page sets out the Authority’s official fees for license applications, renewals, extensions and administrative requests. To keep the system consistent, this page is the single source of truth for schedules of charges across all license families published under NLA, including NFSA and NGA frameworks.

Payment principle: Fees are payable strictly against an issued invoice with a unique reference code. Applicants should not pay fees to any third party without a matching invoice reference.

C. Reissuance, corrections & rectification

Accuracy note: Applicants remain responsible for the correctness of submitted information and documents. Corrections may require additional documentation, revised declarations, or updated supporting evidence.

E. Payment & invoicing rules

Invoices & references: All payments must reference the exact invoice code issued for the request. Payments without an exact reference may be delayed or returned for reconciliation.
1) Invoice issuance
Invoices are issued through the Authority framework and, where applicable, routed via the applicant’s Registered Agent. Each invoice contains a unique reference code, fee item(s), and request scope.
2) Matching & allocation
The Authority allocates funds strictly by invoice reference. If the payer name differs from the applicant, the payer must provide supporting allocation details.
3) Refunds & reversals
Fees are administrative and typically non-refundable once a request enters processing. Where reversals occur, they are subject to verification and reconciliation checks.

Does the $7,500 application fee include multiple activities?

No. The base application fee includes one (1) activity header. Additional activity headers are charged separately at $2,500 per activity.

What happens if my submission contains incorrect information?

If an applicant-provided error requires formal correction and re-processing, a $2,500 rectification fee applies. If the issue is a clerical error attributable to Authority processing, the correction is made at no charge.

Can I pay fees via a third party?

Yes, where properly referenced. Payments must include the exact invoice reference, and the payer may be asked to provide allocation details to avoid misallocation.

How do renewal extensions work?

Extensions may be granted on an administrative basis depending on completeness and processing status. The extension fee is $1,000 per week where applicable.

Where can I verify a license?

Use Verify license to confirm recorded license claims. Certain confirmations may require additional documentation and/or applicant consent.
