1. Purpose

NEVIGO enables authoritative confirmation of license claims using a controlled database maintained by NLA. Verification output should be treated as the primary reference for public license statements.

2. Standard verification fields

Permitted activities Yes High-level activity headers recorded as license scope.
Issue date Yes Date of license issuance for historical continuity.
Notes / flags Where applicable Used for clarifications or public caution statements where needed.
Consistency rule: Any public license statement must match the verification output fields (name, number, status, and scope).

3. Status conventions

  • Active: license is current and within validity windows.
  • Suspended: status is temporarily restricted pending administrative resolution.
  • Expired: validity period lapsed; renewal not confirmed.
  • Withdrawn: license removed from active use; historical record retained.
  • Under Review: administrative review in progress; public claims should be conservative and specific.

4. Corrections & record updates

  • Correction requests must be submitted via the Registered Agent with supporting evidence.
  • Clerical errors attributable to the authority are corrected without charge once validated.
  • Where incorrect information is provided by the applicant, rectification may require a structured update request.
