How to Become a Registered Agent in Neves
Firms must demonstrate governance, capability, due diligence controls and a clear operating model.
Applications are considered against the relevant registered agent framework, including ownership and control, professional experience, compliance resources, AML/CFT arrangements, recordkeeping capacity and the ability to deal with applicants and the Authority in an orderly manner.

Agents serve as an administrative point of contact for filings, updates, changes and official correspondence where applicable.
Misuse and unauthorised claims
Any person claiming to act as a Registered Agent without appearing on the official record should be reported to the Authority.

This reporting channel is for clients, counterparties and members of the public who wish to raise a concern about a Registered Agent or a person claiming to act as one.
- Use of personal or company details without consent.
- Failure to provide agreed services or return statutory records.
- Suspected forgery, misrepresentation or fraudulent conduct.
- Holding out as a Registered Agent when not approved by the Authority.
The Authority may request additional information to assess the concern. Submitting a report does not replace any legal rights, contractual remedies or law-enforcement channels that may also be available.
